New tarantula & snails

Today my friend surprised me with a tarantula, iv'e been telling her how much i wanted her suntiger sling.
She came round and shouted surprise at my doorstep and show me her, i let her have mice babies from me as she is my best friend i don't charge her so i guess this was her way to return the favour :D

i also ordered myself eight snails two of each species.
Archachatina Marginata Rhodei
Achatina Iredalei
Albino Reticulata

i used to have around 20 different snails years ago but cleaning out 20 tanks/tubs took it out on my when i was pregnant with my daughter and was on bed rest i had to all of them go, so i'm really excited to own some again.
they should be here tomorrow/thurs so i shall post some photos then :D

She is rather pretty for a spider, not pretty enough that I'd want one though.

I'm much more keen on snails than spiders.

My first impression upon seeing her was oh, she looks like a spider brooch! Not being a `fan` of spiders generally, I have seen my fair share of large spiders recently, one of which decided to shoot out from under my bed just as I was moving my feet! I spend half an hour chasing the damn thing with the hoover hose! Not the best way to entrap a loose spider I know, but when your about to go to bed, the last thing I wanted was this house spider lurking! I caught a cave spider last night and put it outside, although they have spindly legs and move slower, I still don`t like them in the house. I`d rather have few red bellied piranha fish!!!!

Interested to see your new snails though, I do like snails. x

I really hate house spiders, there is nothing nice about those lol!
The only spider i like around my house is the mouse spiders we get they are dark black and chunky like T's. My next tarantula will be a pink bloom or a pink toe, they are stunning.

I was ordering a new T, till my friend brought this one round thought id go for the snails before getting another T, so can't wait for my snails missed owning them, the kids are not fond of snails so that will be fun trying to get them to come round to them.

I'm only here for the snails I'm afraid

They are all GALs although the Iredalei don't get very big, and interestingly they give birth to live young rather than laying eggs!

The retics will probably get the biggest out of that list, then the margies, then rodatzi, then the iredaleis.

Which others do you think you'll order? Can't wait to see more pics :D
