Teeth checks

How do you check a mouses teeth? Do you scruff them like you do with hamsters?

I confess that having never had a tooth problem in my mice, I've stopped checking. I just watch them while they're eating to make sure everything seems normal but in the past, I've wrapped them in a bit of fleece and gently turned them over a bit. Scruffing should do the job too.

With my hamsters I scruff and either pull back their lips gently with my fingertips or if it's a nipper use an earbud.

I've never had a tooth problem with my mice either, and must admit I never check my mice's teeth... *oops*.
I watch/observe them every day though, and tend to assume that if they're eating plenty then everything must be okay.
