Hey all! Just popping this thread up because i'm getting slightly worried about two of my current female mice. They both seem to very unstable on their feet, wobbling as they walk. Is this something I should be worried about? I plan to make a vet trip soon, but I'm most certain they'll turn me away with nothing much they can do, like most of my mouse problems. They are still eating, drinking, pooping. They are doing everything a mouse should be! I've never had this problem before, so this is all so scary for me!
Has anyone else had this problem?

Funny you should say this but one of mine is looking a bit wobbly too. I'm putting it down to general ageing with my one as she drinks quite a lot too, suggesting perhaps her kidneys aren't working all that well (I don't have an exact age for her because she came from the RSPCA but I've had her for almost a year).
How old are your wobbly mice, are they showing any other symptoms like excessive drinking or respiratory infection? Can you rule out something as simple as sore feet?
Are their water bottles definitely working properly, could they be a bit dehydrated? Or could they be a bit cold instead? If you can rule out all of these things and they have been wobbly for over 24 hours I think I would make that vet's appointment.
